Acquisition

The maison does not sell.

It places.

An acquisition is a formal process — not a transaction.

It is not possible to purchase a piece through a website, a boutique, or a third-party dealer. Every placement is managed directly by the maison, in correspondence with the collector.

The Three Paths

How a placement begins.

  • La Permanence

Twelve pieces per year. The process begins with a letter of introduction — a brief, unforced account of the collector's relationship to horology and their reason for this maison. The maison reads every letter. It does not respond to every letter.

  • L'Héritage

Allocated to a closed group of collectors informed at each release. Future consideration may be requested through correspondence. The process is not quick. It is not designed to be.

  • Le Souvenir

A commission begins with a consultation in Geneva, by appointment. Available at no cost. It carries no obligation. contact@vallier-cie.com

A notarial seal.
The Agreement

Notarially certified. Always.

Every acquisition of a Vallier creation is formalised through a notarially certified acquisition agreement. The agreement records the piece, specification, and edition number; the acquisition price; the collector's identity; the two-year resale restriction and its conditions; and the Register inscription details. The signed agreement is required before production of the caseback engraving begins.
